What’s called Playa del Amor are 100 squaremeters of sandy beach, that you find, if you cross the rock at the eastern beachend of Zipolite. This is not a big excursion but means to take 40 stairs in the heat :-) This place is really romantic! On top of the rock, that seperates the zipolitean beach from the Playa del Amor, there is the guesthouse “El Sheik”. From the terrace there you have a good overview over Zipolite and it´s one of the very best places to enjoy the sunset. Men take care! The crazy Sheik prefers female guests :-) Last update: 23.11.2003
